A day at the office

What does a day at the office look like?
A day at the office : you see it’s pretty hand? Well it’s not mine because I’m busy troubleshooting a broken drink vending machine!
These are the hands of my faithful collaborator who has supported me for so many years that she finally became my wife (already 10 years … that goes by quickly).
So I took him on the exciting adventure of vending machines and together we developed the latest machines we offer.
Her daily life is very interesting: as soon as day breaks, she makes contact with our Asian and mainly Chinese partners, jet lag obliges. Yes, we live in Europe and there are between 7 and 10 a.m. depending on who we talk to.
Discussions are in English and Simplified Chinese: thanks to the automatic translator!
The ultimate goal is to ensure the smooth running of the construction of the vending machines. To check that the instructions given to our local partners are respected.
The rest takes place from the afternoon with us, for the management of the administration: indeed, the vending machines are manufactured in Asia and imported into Europe. it is therefore necessary to deal with customs clearance even if we go through professionals. Everything must be checked so that our customers receive the machines in good and due form.
Once the vending machines are delivered and installed at our customers, billing begins. And who says invoicing, says accounting!
And who says accounting, says relationship with the accountant, administration, etc. So busy afternoons that leave him hardly any free time. Because in the meantime, she takes care of her cooking, her chickens – dogs – cats and her family!
Fortunately, there are weekends to take a break.
