How did it all start in 2013?

Well on December 11, William and I arrive in Guangzhou – People’s Republic of China – around 05:00 in the morning.

We’re here to visit the huge vending machine fair! The story of discovering this concept, which dates back a few decades, since it was in England, in the early 1880s, that it all started with postcard vending machines.

For several days, we walked the aisles of this gigantic trade show, while wearing our sneakers… But what were our joy to discover concepts that were as innovative as they were old!

During these intense days, we had the joy of meeting Vending Machine professionals (as we say in English because an international language). We discussed, looked for the best opportunities to bring them back to France and then to Spain.

We have carefully selected beverage vending machines (international brand in red and white cans) that we have delivered to our various points of sale in Spain. History to try!

Faced with the successes of profitability after a few months, our blood did only one turn: to return to Guangzhou, to the vending machine trade fair, to find nuggets and bring them back with us to Europe.

Since these moments of discovery, we continue to meet our Chinese friends with whom we are developing new distributors for the European market. The advantage is the extraordinary complicity that we have between us even though our culture is different.

So every year we went back to China to discover new horizons and meet new people. Each time we arrive with wide eyes and it is with great enthusiasm that we discover the novelties.

But it is also with difficulty that we leave this territory so attractive for business. Not to mention the friends we leave behind! Only the Covid managed to block us in our Chinese escapades. We are also looking forward to going back!

Soon ! Once the country allows businessmen and women from all over the world to travel by plane! Because on foot, it’s far and that doesn’t solve the problem of quarantine…
